This is a screenshot of an article layout featuring a gallery with two photos visible at the top, as well as a headline and text at the bottom. The text discusses the trend for ‘all-over patterns with a focus on detail’.

As part of this project with the German Wallpaper Institute, an existing WordPress website was redesigned and its content migrated to the flat-file CMS Kirby.

A key focus of the project was the magazine content, which is aimed at both consumers and the industry. The layout was adapted accordingly to present the visually rich articles in a more varied way.

The website was significantly optimised for mobile use, both in terms of design and loading performance.

Here is a screenshot of the ‘Wallpaper Glossary’ feature, showing a list of terms arranged alphabetically, such as ‘production number’ and ‘priming agent’. You can search through the list.
The ‘Useful Information’ section offers tutorials and articles for beginners, intermediate users and professionals.

The ‘Kōgyō’ project page features a number of minimalist photographs of an empty flat in an old building, in which various objects have been placed. The images show an orange armchair, a briefcase and a road bike. The page also displays the project title and a brief description.
